The big plus behind the Bridgewater b&b are Pam and Lynn. Dedicated to ensuring your stay be as comfortable as possible (for us like being home in another country), they take your choice of staying with them very professionally: assisting you to make the most of whatever brought you to Knysna. Beautiful stylied rooms in a garden, calm in backyards, very good and helpful information about possible activities and nice places around this hotel, a very good breakfast

Nice seaside from the front rooms, but not recommandable, because very noisy due to the passing mainroad

Close to waterfront

Website advertised kids as free but apparently it was miscommunication between Booked.net and hotel. We had to pay extra but still had to share the room with the kids (we got a bigger room but with no extra beds). We also had to pay extra for breakfast for 1 kid so I don't really see the benefit of paying more? Also, we should not have been penalized for miscomm bet hotel and Booked.net. Room smelled damp. The B&B is just off the N2 so a lot of traffic can be heard. The place is old so you could hear wooden floors creaking at night when people were walking. I would not recommend this place for families with kids. For the price we ended up paying with all the unknown "extras", we could have gotten better quality accomodation with better views on the waterfront.

We were warmly welcomed at the Bridgewater and the owner was extremely helpful in providing us with information on what to do during our stay and making recommendations we found very useful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the view amazing and location very convenient. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Spotless, lovely accomodation but the difference was the team of people led by our special host - Lynne who shared all she knew about the local (and not so local area). Really great service, balcony with fab view of lagoon, memorable breakfast for all the right reasons!. Easy to find and good location. So pleased we chose the Bridgewater.

In all our world travels, this B & B is probably our No 1 favourite in every respect. A note of thanks to Pat & Lynn, the operators who made us feel so welcome and were a tremendous help in sending us to all the right places.

We received a very warm welcome from Lyn and Pat and they gave us to much helpful advise, it really ensured we enjoyed every moment of our stay in Kynsna. Great breakfast. Beautifully run.

The staff was very friendly and wellcoming.. The rooms are clean and comfortable. quality matresses and bedding. The breakfast & view where amazing. Coffee is delicious
